Beginning the second quarter of 09, we will provide suggestions for interesting and relevant content for your website. If you're looking for fresh and current information to provide to your patrons, it's will be only a click away.
From bestseller book lists, to "this day in history", to books that help explain events in the news, you can quickly find interesting content for your home page.
Even better, if you run across some interesting information that you think other libraries could use, you can add it to the list, as can any of our other libraries from across the United States and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

New York Times Bestseller Lists...

The current week’s top five bestsellers from the New York Times list in five categories – Hardcover Fiction, Hardcover Nonfiction, Advice, Business and Children’s Chapter Books.

Each book is presented with a cover image and a short description. Site visitors may view a list of titles and authors from previous weeks as well, and click through to see the bookcover and description.

This page is updated weekly to reflect changes in the New York Times list. You don’t have to do a thing – it works automatically.

There’s always something happening!

This page summarizes historic birthdays, events or holidays, newsworthy current events, and more, and points the site visitor to books and other resources to learn more.

As with the New York Times Bestseller page, weekly updates will occur automatically – you don’t have to do a thing.


NEW!   User-Submitted Book Reviews
This is a great new feature that allows your patrons to submit their book reviews and have them appear on your site. (All reviews are subject to approval by library staff.)
Of course, a feature like this is best when there are many new reviews posted each week...so you have an option. If desired, with one click of the mouse you can choose to display reviews not only from your library, but from all other participating Piper Mountain Web libraries!


NEW!   Meeting Room Schedule
If you have one or more meeting rooms available for use by the public, you probably receive many calls about when the rooms are available. Now you can easily post the meeting room schedule(s) for all to see. You can even include staff-only notes about the requirements of specific meetings (i.e. number of chairs, special seating, projectors, etc.)


RSS Feeds of Event Calendar
We set up one or more RSS feeds of your event calendar, so that patrons can be automatically notified of what's happening next at the library!


Integrated Blog
A blog page integrated directly into your library site - where staff can post regular updates and information, and display approved comments from site visitors.


Complete Statistical Reports
We have partnered with Google Analytics to provide you with a complete statistical package. Track number of visitors, most popular pages, amoung of time spent on your site, and much, much more.


E-Mail Accounts
Your annual hosting agreement includes up to 25 e-mail accounts associated with your domain name, i.e. director@yourlibrary.org.


Domain Names
Your annual hosting agreement includes the cost of a domain name, i.e. www.yourlibrary.org. If you already have a domain name, we will take over the costs associated with it


Sponsored Sites
We facilitate monthly sponsorship of your site by local library supporters - both individuals and businesses, if desired. It's a great way to draw interest to your site, involve the community, and reduce your costs. More information here...
